Payroll Specialist (ADP WFN)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 200 employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable payroll regulations.
  • Set up and maintain employee records across internal HR, payroll, and timekeeping systems.
  • Enter, review, and validate payroll hours in the internal system and coordinate payroll processing through a third-party payroll platform.
  • Manage payroll changes including new hires, terminations, pay rate updates, deductions, and garnishments.
  • Support employee benefits-related payroll deductions and respond to payroll and benefits inquiries.
  • Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll submission.
  • Collaborate closely with HR and Accounting to ensure consistent employee and payroll data.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
  • Proven experience processing payroll for approximately 200 employees within a single state.
  • Working knowledge of garnishments, payroll deductions, and basic benefits administration.
  • Experience using a full-service payroll platform; payroll system implementation or setup experience is a strong plus.
  • Ability to accurately set up and maintain employee data in multiple systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet strict payroll deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in an on-site, fast-paced environment with an immediate start timeline.
